1. "Because We Are Visual" (30 min) by Olivia Rochette & Gerard-Jan Claes
In 'Because We Are Visual' Olivia Rochette and Gerard-Jan Claes immerse themselves into the world of public video journals. The Internet and its online communities intend to bring people closer together and to connect them. Yet, surprisingly, it seems that the virtual world confronts these so-called bloggers more than ever with their own loneliness. This documentary allows the viewer to discover this contemporary phenomenon and focuses on the experience of the body within this virtual space. By means of visual material gathered from online sources, the cineastes create a unique poetic realm in which thoughts and worries merge together.

3. "Bits&Pieces (30 min)" by Frank & Robbert, Robbert & Frank
In "Bits&Pieces" we see Robbert & Frank showing themselves again as born Experimental Video Artists.
After finishing about 10 short movies the last 2 years and collecting 100 hours of raw footage from their own life
they clearly spend again a laboring month in their obscure, philosophical and funny editing room.
"Bits&Pieces" is a unique project because F&R break up the existing edits of their own short films and put them back together into a new edit. Combined with raw footage from `their own life-library`, images of themselves, parents, grandparents and friends. An experiment with the pureness of existing video footage that seems to morph into a documentary that portraits actually. The makers of the documentary themselves. An unusual essay questioning the video and digital medium as well.

4. "Semalu" (30 min) by Jimmy Hendrickx & LIVE SOUNDTRACK by Blu Simon Wasem (20 min)
"Semalu" (which means Sensitive Plant) is a story about the children of Cheras, a suburb in the east of Kuala Lumpur.
A place in the middle of a transitional period of modernization. We see the old part of the neighborhood getting demolished quickly, to make way for monotonous impersonal apartment blocks. The lasts peace of jungle in the shadow of a building build yesterday.
Between this noisy landscape of constructions we see the youngest generation being bored and don`t know where to go. "Semalu" is the second part of a trilogy in which Jimmy experiments with the formats of cinema and documentary. Traveling around with his camera, Jimmy tries to build magical stories upon realistic film footage.
A surrealistic documentary that tries to show some beauty in a monotonous and boring world.

5. Brasilian Experimental Live Music Performance by Blu Simon Wasem
Blu is a nomade multi-media artist with Brazilian roots who dedicated himself to improvisation and experimental music. By Origin a bass and percussion player, today augmented with violin, flute, and handmade electronics. Using The World as inspiration he is now focusing on South-East Asia where he let his improvisations flow out of exotic metropolitan experiences or his jungle escapades. Abstract and touching compositions often combined with humorous layers leading the audience to a new concept of their music notions. He unites the acoustic with the electronic in an unusual way. Adventurous soundscapes and unusual rhythms will abduct you in the authentic world of Blu`s sound poetry.
